When Anisha told me we were talking about community marketing, I thought it was going to be complicated.

Turns out, it wasn’t.

The first thing she asked me was simple:

“What makes you stick around somewhere online?”

I didn’t have a fancy answer.

So I just said, people.

Apparently, that was the right direction.

Anisha explained that community marketing isn’t about pushing content or chasing numbers. It’s about creating spaces where people feel like they belong.

Where they feel seen.

Where they feel part of something.

That stuck with me.

We talked about online communities, engagement, trust, and why conversations matter more than broadcasts. She showed me how the strongest brands don’t just talk to their audience—they talk with them.

What I liked most was how she made everything feel real. Nothing felt overcomplicated or distant. It all came back to people and connection.

That made sense to me.

Because in the end, that’s what community is.

People showing up for each other.

By the time we finished, I realised community marketing isn’t really about marketing at all.

It’s about creating a space people want to stay in.

And that changes everything.

Would I work with Anisha again?

Yeah.

No question.

She gets it.

And more importantly, she makes you get it too.
