Meet the S&S Team

Signals & Strategies isn’t built around one perspective.

Behind the ideas, experiments and strategies is a fictional team of specialists, each looking at marketing from a different angle.

Some focus on how content is created. Others look at how people navigate a website, how brands build trust, how AI is changing search, or how businesses turn attention into sustainable growth.

Together, they form the S&S Strategy Team.

🖋️ Zavian

Content & Storytelling

Zavian focuses on the human side of marketing.

His role is to help make content clearer, more engaging and more memorable without stripping away the personality behind it.

What he’ll be working on:

  • Content strategy and storytelling
  • Making complex marketing ideas easier to understand
  • Humanising AI-assisted content
  • Finding the story behind a marketing message
  • Helping content connect with people rather than simply attract clicks
  • Exploring how voice, perspective and emotion influence content

His question:
Does this actually sound like a human worth listening to?

🧭 Alina

Information Architecture & UX

Alina looks at what happens after someone arrives.

A great piece of content means very little if visitors can’t find their way around the website.

Her role is to make S&S easier to navigate, understand and explore.

What she’ll be working on:

  • Website structure and navigation
  • Information architecture
  • Categories and content organisation
  • User journeys
  • Start Here pathways
  • Internal linking and content relationships
  • Making complex websites feel simpler

Her question:
Can someone find what they need without getting lost?

🛡️ Inaya

Trust, Brand & Transparency

Inaya focuses on the foundation underneath marketing: trust.

With AI becoming increasingly involved in content creation, recommendations and search, transparency matters more than ever.

Her role is to explore how brands can communicate honestly while still building authority.

What she’ll be working on:

  • Brand trust
  • Transparency in marketing
  • AI ethics and responsible use
  • Disclosure and credibility
  • Building authentic brand relationships
  • Distinguishing authority from empty claims
  • Examining how businesses earn long-term trust

Her question:
Why should someone believe you?

📈 Azaan

Monetization & Growth

Azaan looks at what happens when attention needs to become something more meaningful.

His role focuses on the business side of marketing: turning audiences, content and opportunities into sustainable growth.

What he’ll be working on:

  • Monetization strategies
  • Affiliate marketing
  • Conversion thinking
  • Audience-to-customer journeys
  • Business growth
  • Offers and value propositions
  • Identifying opportunities without forcing a sale

His question:
Where is the actual value here, and how does it create sustainable growth?

🎯 Zara

Brand & Audience Strategy

Zara focuses on the connection between a brand and the people it wants to reach.

Her role is to look beyond demographics and ask what audiences actually care about, why they pay attention and what makes them stay.

What she’ll be working on:

  • Audience research
  • Brand positioning
  • Differentiation
  • Audience needs and expectations
  • Brand identity
  • Community and connection
  • Understanding attention versus genuine interest

Her question:
Are we creating something people actually care about?

🔮 Rayyan

AI Marketing & Foresight

Rayyan looks ahead.

His role is to explore where AI, search, marketing and technology are heading, rather than simply reacting to what’s already happening.

What he’ll be working on:

  • AI marketing trends
  • AI search and emerging discovery systems
  • Future marketing behaviour
  • New AI tools and applications
  • Marketing predictions and possibilities
  • Human-AI collaboration
  • What marketers should be preparing for next

His question:
What’s coming next, and are we ready for it?

🔍 Zayden

SEO & AI Search

Zayden focuses on discoverability.

Traditional search is changing, and people are increasingly discovering information through AI-powered systems as well as search engines.

His role is to explore how content can remain discoverable without becoming robotic or overly optimised.

What he’ll be working on:

  • SEO strategy
  • AI search and discovery
  • Search intent
  • Content discoverability
  • Keyword strategy
  • Semantic relevance
  • Search-friendly content that still serves humans

His question:
Can people actually find this, and does it deserve to be found?

How The Team Works Together

The interesting part isn’t what each person does individually.

It’s what happens when their perspectives meet.

A new piece of content might begin with Zavian asking whether there’s a worthwhile story.

Zara considers whether the audience actually needs it.

Zayden looks at discoverability.

Alina considers where it belongs within the wider website.

Inaya checks whether the information builds trust.

Azaan considers whether there’s a genuine business opportunity.

And Rayyan asks how the idea might change as AI and marketing continue to evolve.

That’s the point of the S&S team.

Different perspectives. One strategy.

The S&S Philosophy

Marketing isn’t one discipline operating in isolation.

Content affects SEO.
SEO affects discoverability.
UX affects whether people stay.
Trust affects whether they believe you.
Audience understanding affects whether the message matters.
Monetization affects whether the business can continue.
And AI is increasingly touching all of it.

The S&S team exists to look at those connections.

Because sometimes the best strategy isn’t found by looking at one piece of the puzzle.

It’s found by looking at the whole picture.
