🐾 Simmba’s Sessions: ACE, We Need to Talk.

A cat’s perspective on the new Wealthy Affiliate platform.
Written by Simmba, Chief Nap Officer at Signal & Strategies.
Hello, humans. It’s Simmba. 🐈⬛
My human has been spending an awful lot of time exploring the new Wealthy Affiliate platform, and naturally, I have been supervising from a safe distance. Someone has to protect the business.
Now, I understand the vision behind ACE. An AI assistant, personalised business guidance, content creation, and tools designed to help you grow. As a cat who appreciates efficiency, I respect the ambition.
But here’s my observation.
A powerful platform means very little if its users feel lost inside it.
The new WA experience brings exciting possibilities, from a personalised dashboard to ACE and its business-building capabilities. But when you’re already busy managing a website, creating content, and learning new strategies, navigating an unfamiliar system can feel like being handed a hundred toys when you only wanted your favourite one.
And humans, unlike cats, apparently cannot solve every problem by taking a nap.
My recommendations for the humans behind the screens?
🐾 Make navigation intuitive. Important tools should be easy to find, not hidden behind a digital treasure hunt.
🐾 Keep progress transparent. If someone has been actively working on their website, their dashboard should reflect that activity accurately. Confusing balances or progress indicators deserve clear explanations.
🐾 Let ACE guide, not overwhelm. Personalised recommendations are fantastic, but users need clear priorities and practical next steps, not another mountain of information.
🐾 Listen to real users. Beginners and experienced marketers have different needs. Feedback from both should shape the platform.
🐾 Keep the human in the loop. AI can assist with research, planning, and content creation, but human judgement, experience, and original input still matter.
My final verdict?
I like the direction. I like the ambition. And I believe ACE has potential to make online business building more accessible.
But the real measure of success isn’t how many features a platform launches. It’s whether people can use those features confidently to grow their businesses.
Because if your users spend more time figuring out your platform than working on their websites, we might have a problem.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a very important meeting with my food bowl.
Simmba has logged off. 🐾
What do you think of the new Wealthy Affiliate experience? What would make it easier for you to navigate and use every day?
Until next time, keep building smarter, not just harder.
